We NEVER use black henna which is responsible for the bad rap on good henna. It is rare for someone to have a reaction to natural henna. Our recipe uses only quality natural powder and high-grade essential oils
Henna - also known as mehndi - is still used today around the world to decorate the skin in cultural festivals and celebrations.
Henna is powder derived from leaves of a flowering plant that grows in tropical and subtropical regions of Africa and Asia.
We do use jagua, which is an all-natural stain that comes from the berry of a plant and produces an all-natural blue black stain. This is NOT black henna.
What is Black Henna?
Black henna has toxic and harmful hair dye added to the natural henna.
Don't be tempted to get a black henna. It could leave you scarred for life and put you at risk of a life-threatening allergic reaction.
